(Rome, October 1, 2024) Inclusion and integration were the central themes of today’s event organized by the Diversity & Inclusion Hub (www.diversity-inclusion.it) at the Sala Caduti Di Nassirya in the Senate, where the latest issue of “L’Inclusione” and the InSport initiative were presented, organized by the observatory.

The conference was organized by CORE (www.corelations.it) with the support of the Hub’s partners Axpo, Gruppo FS Italiane, and Neopharmed Gentili, in collaboration with Sport Luiss and the Laureus Foundation.

At the heart of the event was the theme of disability in the workplace, a topic of increasing importance within companies and relevance in society. Disability should not, in fact, be an obstacle to economic participation and professional achievement. However, many barriers still limit access to decent work for people with disabilities around the world. Today’s event marked another step forward in overcoming these barriers.

The meeting concluded with the experiences shared by the promoters of InSport, a day dedicated to inclusion through sport held in Rome on September 16 at PalaLuiss. The event aimed to draw attention to the urgent need to create spaces for integration and interaction for young people with disabilities, using sport as a tool for personal and social growth.

The event was moderated by Mario Benedetto, Chief Editor of “L’Inclusione”.
