Thematic areas

Neopharmed Gentili’s Strategic Plan is built upon the following three pillars:

  • Managing the environmental impacts (Environmental)
  • Interaction with both internal and external stakeholders (Social)
  • Corporate governance & compliance (Governance).

The initial preliminary analysis phase consisted of the materiality assessment, in accordance with the AccountAbility 1000 and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) criteria, where 10 areas were identified.

The 10 thematic areas identified and based on the Environmental, Social, and Governance pillars are shown in the graph below.

Material topics

This analysis allowed for a thorough examination of the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance in accordance with the “double materiality” principle, which is also in line with the guidelines of the Corporate Social Responsibility Directive (CSRD).

In order to demonstrate our commitment to communicating and raising awareness on the topics and related effects in the ESG field, we did not only involve Neopharmed’s Management in this analysis but also the primary internal and external stakeholders.

We collected and evaluated opinions by 463 stakeholders in total, which include employees, agents, and suppliers, on the environmental, social, and governance performance aspects that allowed us to fine-tune the Plan’s strategy.
