Large companies and universities allied to offer a genuine opportunity in the field of communications to students and young professionals. This is the successful formula of the seventh edition of the national “Young Communicators Award” contest, created by Agol—The Young Opinion Leader Association, a network of young professionals that was born in 2014 with the aim of encouraging the renewal of managerial leadership through intergenerational dialogue. The award, sponsored by the National Youth Agency, has established itself among one of the most prestigious awards of the sector in Italy, and has allowed dozens of young individuals to enter the workforce and to establish important contacts in institutional and corporate communication.
On Thursday 4 November 2021 at 6.30pm in Rome, the winners of the five categories of the contest aimed at young individuals between 18 and 35 years of age received the following awards at La Lanterna di Fuksas: Diversity & Inclusion, Corporate Communication, CSR, Social Media Strategy, Public Affairs and Institutional Communication. Over the past seven years, the Agol Prize has awarded masters and internship programs at partner companies and universities to students, as well as a cash prize to young professionals. Each of the chosen and awarded projects was screened by a Scientific Committee made up of professionals from partner companies, who not only evaluated the creativity and compliance with the call for applications, but perhaps most important of all, the feasibility of the project submitted.
Two special prizes were awarded during the event: the Career Award to Ferruccio de Bortoli and the Storyteller Award to Giovanna Botteri.
In collaboration with A2A, Creval, Generali Italia, Superjob, Open Fiber. IULM, Roma Tor Vergata, 24ORE Business School and Master in Marketing, Digital Communication, Sales Management Publitalia’80 also participated in this initiative.
