When sport breaks down barriers: a meeting on inclusion and talent in Rome
Neopharmed Gentili has always supported sport as a tool for inclusion, growth, and freedom. This was the theme of the meeting “Beyond barriers. Sport and inclusion” held on October 9, 2025, at the Circolo degli Esteri in Rome, promoted by Formiche in collaboration with art4sport and SuperJob.
The protagonists of the event were Paralympic champion Bebe Vio Grandis and Alessandro Onorato, Councilor for Major Events, Sport, Tourism, and Fashion for the Municipality of Rome, in an open dialogue on how to ‘welcome’ disability without fear and how to make sporting activities increasingly accessible so that they become a real driver of empowerment and participation.
The meeting sent out a positive message about the value of diversity and the educational and social role of sport, particularly for young people: a training ground for life where respect, collaboration, and self-confidence are learned, but also a powerful tool that creates bonds, stimulates teamwork, and encourages the sharing of common goals. Cultivating each person’s skills and talents means offering young people the chance to believe in their dreams and build a future based on independence and self-esteem.
Neopharmed Gentili supports these initiatives with the aim of reflecting together on how sport can break down barriers and create new opportunities: because sport is not just competition, but a universal language of freedom, dignity, and hope.
